Basic Life Support (BLS)
Simulation training in basic life support in adults and children from the American Heart Association, based on current 2020 guidelines, is designed for healthcare professionals and other professionals who need knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life-saving procedures.
Program components:
- American Heart Association Chain of Survival
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults/children/toddlers by single rescuer
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with an AED for adults/children/toddlers by two rescuers pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults/children/toddlers by two rescuers
- Differences in CPR for adults/children/toddlers
- Performing CPR for adults/children/toddlers
- Artificial and auxiliary ventilation with an Ambu bag with a mask for adults/children/toddlers
- Recognizing and removing airway obstruction by a foreign body in adults/children/toddlers
- Resuscitation in pregnant women
- Providing care for opioid-associated conditions opioid-associated conditions, life-threatening conditions
- High-quality teamwork, principles and implementation

The course is conducted in the format of simulation training by certified instructors of the American Heart Association Intenational Training Center "Special Training Center LLC" ZZ21665 (Ukraine). https://atlas.heart.org/
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant receives a Certificate and a Course Completion Card with an individual number, QR code and number of hours, which can be easily verified on the ACA website.
The points will be awarded according to the criteria for awarding CPD points in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated April 16, 2025 No. 650 (Annex No. 6 to the "Procedure for Certification of Healthcare Workers").
The certificate and eCard are valid for 2 years.
